| Taking New Orders In January & Dates I Will Be Taking Time Off |
Hi Beautiful Brides!!
Hope all is well with you and you are enjoying the holidays. Yes, they are so busy, but also so much fun !
No matter how busy I get, I have to keep you all updated on what's happening at Plumeria's.
1st of all, January 3rd is the first day I will be taking new wedding orders to begin shipping out March 9th and beyond.
2nd of all, I will be closed for business from January 27th - March 8th, 2012. That means I will not be sending out samples, answering emails, or taking new orders during that time.
So between January 3rd - January 26th would be the perfect time to book with me for 2012.
In the mean time, I wish you a very special Holiday season and I look forward to making your 2012 wedding special (and oh so tropical,) in every way!!
You mean so much to me and I feel very honored to be part of the most memorable time in your life.

Sometimes it is so fun to just design and come up with new bouquets. I don't think I've ever done anything like this before.

I have just 3 more openings and then I am completely booked through January, 2012.
Once these openings are booked, I will be closing the ability to order again, until January 3rd.
On January 3rd, I will be accepting orders to be shipped out, March - July, 2012.

| Back From a beautiful Wedding Anniversary Celebration! |

My husband and I just celebrated our 9th wedding anniversary along the coast.
It seems like Fall is setting in because there was no fog all 4 days. Summertime is always the foggiest, and for people that don't know that, it can be a big surprise. I think the most gorgeous weather is here! It was one of the main reasons my husband and I chose to get married in September. Our wedding day was crystal clear.
My husband showered me with gifts like he always does. In addition to a sweet, heart-shaped ruby ring, he bought me the left and right figurines you see in this picture. The middle one is what is left of the large cake topper we bought for our wedding cake. It originally had a large heart and more dolphins but it got broken - as did our toasting glasses that matched.
It was so thoughtful and meaningful for him to do this. He was unable to find our original cake topper to replace our broken one so this was the next best thing!
I'm sure you have guessed that I love him!
I hope you too, have lots of wonderful wedding anniversaries in your future.

| The Most Important Day In Your Life . . . |

I know how important your wedding day is to you.
It was the same way for me. I still have wonderful memories of that day. It was truly one of the best days of my life. In fact, my husband and I will be celebrating 9 years together, next week!
You know that TV show, "Family Feud" where they survey people to determine the top answer to a question? Well, tonight one of the questions was, "What has been the best day of your life, up to this point?" The most popular answer was, "The day I got married" :) I would have answered it that way too!
Because I know how important your wedding day is to you, I do my best to fulfill all of my responsibilities and to honor my promises made to you - no matter what happens.
Last month was so hard for me. My beautiful cat, Honey, was dying of Cancer and I had to take the step to have her put to sleep. Because she was suffering, I was suffering. She was the most beautiful, gentle cat. I loved her with all my heart and I still miss her so much.
What kept me going through all of this was you! Your hopes and dreams depend on me fulfilling my promises to you. And you continue to make my day, often. Every time you share pictures with me or express how much you enjoy my work, I know all the demands of this business are totally worth it.
Thank you for being the beautiful bride that you are!

Plumeria

I recently had someone order a Plumeria sample from me and when it arrived, she emailed me because she thought the sample she ordered was going to be a real Plumeria.
It made me really wonder how many people view my website and think the flowers I offer are real?
And beyond that, I wonder if anyone has ever ordered flowers from me for their wedding and thought they would have received real flowers!
No one has ever let me know in all the years I've been doing this, but you never know! I would hate for that to happen.
Knock on wood!

| As July 1st Approaches, I'd Like To Make A Request . . . |

Hi Ladies!
I hope your wedding planning is going smoothly and you are able to enjoy the journey along the way. This special time in your life will give you lots of memories to treasure and reflect on as the years go by. I know, for myself, that is very true!
As you know, July 1st is the day I will begin taking orders again and I'm very excited about that, as I'm sure you are!
I will accept orders until I am completely booked through January 31st. (Yes, I've extended the time frame!)
Please keep in mind that I now have minimum shipment time frames.
For U.S. orders, I will ship a minimum of 3-4 weeks prior to your wedding date.
For International orders, I will ship a minimum of 6-7 weeks prior to your wedding date.
The reason for this has to do with occasional delays in international customs, as well as any losses by the delivery company. (Lost shipments have happened only twice, but it created a huge amount of stress)
Just today on the news, it was announced that shipments to Canada would be delayed.
How would you feel if you had an upcoming wedding and the possibility that your flowers would not arrive in time, was a very real possibility??
NO last minute order means no last minute wedding stress for either of us!
Please allow me plenty of time to get back to you once I start taking orders again
Considering the amount of emails I've been receiving weekly, I anticipate that it will take me a week or two to go through, and set up all the orders I will receive on July 1st. It was like that the last time I opened up the option to order.
Here are some tips/requests regarding orders:
1. To be completely fair to everyone, all orders will be processed on a first come, first serve basis as they arrive July 1st in my email.
2. Please allow me time to respond. It may take me up to 4-5 days to acknowledge your email due to volume of emails.
3. VERY, VERY IMPORTANT: Please send me a complete, detailed list of what you'd like to order.
I will need to know:
All bouquet sizes, kind of flowers, flower colors + ribbon color.
A list of other flowers you need for your wedding - (quantities, kind of flowers, flower colors, ribbon color)
Where flowers will be shipped to - (to calculate shipping fee)
Your wedding date (to determine shipment date)
I can not express enough, how helpful this will be to both of us in setting up your order!

I will be placing some brand new, ready to ship wedding flower packages on my website in just a few weeks.
I will announce it on my Facebook page so you might want to join!
I get between 2,000 - 2,500 visits to my website every month, so as you can imagine, I can not possibility keep up with the demand for my designs. There just aren't enough hours in a day!
Already, I am sure that even those of you who are patiently waiting for July 1st to come around and order from me will be disappointed.
So, little by little, I've been putting together flower packages for the bride that misses out on ordering from me.
I thought I'd give you a preview of one set to be available soon!

Wow, it is so nice to see my flowers on the beach!
If you don't know by now, I am a major beach girl at heart. It's where I feel the best in life. I would spend time there almost every day if I could.
Seeing the bouquets I create in such beautiful scenery fills my heart with so much joy! Then add to that, the fact that I get to see how beautiful the girls are that I work with.
